What is YouPay Wallet?
YouPay Wallet is a digital wallet that lets you recharge mobiles and DTH connections, pay utility bills such as electricity, water, gas and broadband, and transfer money — all from a single balance and a single account.
Do I need to download an app to use it?
Not at all. The complete wallet works in any modern browser at app.youpaywallet.com. The Android app is on Google Play and uses the same account. An iOS app is on the way.
How do I add money to my wallet?
Open the wallet, choose Add Money, enter an amount and complete the payment through the supported methods shown at checkout. The balance updates as soon as the payment is confirmed by the payment partner.
What happens if a recharge or bill payment fails?
If the operator or biller rejects a transaction, the amount is returned to your YouPay Wallet balance. Some operators confirm asynchronously, so a payment may briefly show as pending before it settles. If an amount is debited and the service is not delivered within the timelines in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, raise a ticket and we will trace it.
Is my money and personal data safe?
All communication is encrypted in transit, transactions are authorised with an OTP and your private PIN, and every movement of money is logged with a unique reference. Read the full detail in our Privacy Policy.
Are there any charges for using YouPay Wallet?
Creating a wallet is free. Certain services may carry a convenience fee or a payment gateway charge, which is always shown to you on the confirmation screen before you pay — never after.
How do I raise a complaint?
Write to support@youpaywallet.com with your transaction reference. Every complaint is tracked; escalation levels and response times are set out in our Grievance Redressal Policy.
