Clarity over cleverness
Plain labels, honest amounts, no dark patterns dressed up as convenience.
YouPay Wallet exists because paying a bill in India still takes too many apps, too many passwords and too much doubt about whether it actually went through.
A wallet that a first-time smartphone user and a power user can both finish a payment on, without a tutorial.
YouPay Wallet started from a small, stubborn observation: most people were keeping one app for recharges, another for the electricity bill, a third for sending money — and still not being sure a payment had gone through until somebody complained.
So we built one wallet that covers the whole month. One balance, one account, one history you can actually search. Every payment leaves a receipt with a reference number, because the worst part of a digital payment is not the payment — it is the uncertainty afterwards.
We are a small team, and we intend to stay a focused one. We would rather do recharges, bills and transfers properly than do fifteen things adequately.
If a payment takes more than a few taps, we treat that as a bug worth fixing.
Encryption, OTP and PIN authorisation, and a full audit trail on every rupee.
Any fee appears on the confirmation screen before you pay — never after.
Real people, tracked tickets, and published escalation timelines.
Plain labels, honest amounts, no dark patterns dressed up as convenience.
We collect what the transaction needs and nothing more. We do not sell personal data.
A reference number, a timestamp and a status on every movement of money.
Even when a failure sits with a third party, chasing it is our job, not yours.
Where to find us, and how to reach a real person.
The whole wallet runs in your browser. Set it up in about a minute and pay your next bill from the same screen.
